salesforce.com has designated ShareMethods’ on-demand service ShareNow as an AppExchange Essential. This honor is reserved for a select set of AppExchange applications. salesforce.com explains their AppExchange Essentials as follows:
“[AppExchange Essentials are] here to help users of different departments, verticals, and segments quickly locate apps hand-picked to meet their specific business needs and objectives.
Salesforce.com’s in-house experts have made these app recommendations based on five criteria: user ratings, feedback from customer interviews, pre-integration on the Salesforce platform, simple and intuitive user interface, and ability to address top business needs for the particular department, vertical, segment, or use case.”
